With over 20 years of experience, Jose M. Viruet, LCPC, brings deep expertise and compassion to his work with adolescents, young adults, and adults facing significant mental and behavioral health challenges. As a bilingual clinician licensed in Illinois, he is committed to providing accessible, culturally responsive care.

Jose is specially trained in a range of evidence-based approaches, including group therapy, EMDR, trauma-informed care, substance abuse treatment, the Transition-to-Independence Process (TIP) model, and crisis de-escalation strategies. His extensive clinical background spans residential care, inpatient hospital settings, community outreach, and integrated medical environments. He blends clinical excellence with a person-centered approach—supporting clients as they navigate complex challenges and move toward healing and independence.
