Dr. Meera Nair is a dedicated and compassionate, board-eligible psychiatrist and a proud member of the American Psychiatric Association. She specializes in integrative and interventional mental health care, with clinical expertise in depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and treatment-resistant disorders. Her areas of special interest include women’s mental health, medication-related weight management, and emerging psychiatric treatments such as Spravato® (esketamine), TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), and ketamine therapy.

Raised in Ohio, Dr. Nair earned her medical degree from the Kerala University of Health Sciences, where her passion for whole-person care first took root. She completed her psychiatry residency at the Mount Sinai – Loretto Hospital Psychiatry Program and now proudly serves adolescents and adults across the Greater Chicago area through both in-person and telepsychiatry services.

Her approach combines traditional psychiatric evaluation and medication management with evidence-based lifestyle interventions, emphasizing the roles of nutrition, physical activity, sleep hygiene, and stress reduction in promoting lasting emotional wellness. Dr. Nair also integrates interventional psychiatry techniques for individuals who have not responded to conventional treatments.
