
Meet Samantha Ramos, M.A., LCPC
Samantha earned her Master’s in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2017 and is completing a Doctorate in Health Science with a focus on Mental Health. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care across the lifespan.
She began her career at Lurie Children’s Hospital, supporting therapeutic play in the Hematology and Oncology outpatient center, and continued her work with youth at the Family Behavioral Health Clinic. Samantha also has extensive experience with older adults, including work in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and takes a trauma-informed approach to treating concerns such as trauma, depression, ADHD, anxiety, grief, and disability.
Trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), she supports clients in developing mindfulness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance. Samantha also provides clinical supervision to fellow clinicians.
Outside of work, she enjoys comic books, Disney, the outdoors, and traveling the country in search of the best pizza.
